Medical Student Research Interns


Ariana Andere


 

 

 

Ariana Andere is a medical student at the UC San Francisco School of Medicine. She will graduate in 2024 with her M.D. and currently hopes to specialize in Neurology or Child Neurology. Ariana was born and raised in sunny San Diego, CA. She received her ScB in Neuroscience with Honors and AB in Science, Technology and Society studies from Brown University in 2019. In that time, she worked as a Teaching Assistant, taught neuroscience to high schoolers, and researched stroke using MRI. Before moving to San Francisco, she spent her gap-year conducting MRI research at UC San Diego and worked at a pediatric neurology clinic. When she's not studying or doing research, she loves to run, hike, play with her dogs, and spend time with her nieces. 


Beata Vayngortin


 

 

 

 

Beata is a medical student at Drexel University College of Medicine and is due to graduate in 2024. She graduated with honors with a B.S. in PyschoBiology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2020. Beata enjoyed shadowing in the neurology department throughout her time at UCLA and is excited to explore this specialty further from a clinical research perspective. She is passionate about working with diverse communities and hopes to provide compassionate, patient-oriented care throughout her career. Outside of school, Beata enjoys dancing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
